Sr. NoHolidaysDateDay
Indian stock exchanges close on national and state holidays, also called trading or share market holidays. On these days, no market transactions take place, impacting trading strategies and annual profits or losses.

In 2025, there will be 14 trading holidays due to festivals and events. April and October will have the most, with three holidays each, followed by March and August, which will have two holidays each. January, June, July, and September won’t have any holidays, apart from regular weekends.

Being aware of these non-trading days is essential for managing trading schedules and adjusting strategies effectively. Planning ahead ensures you make the most of trading opportunities throughout the year.
